Szijjártó called Biden's decisions leading to a world war

US President Joe Biden is pushing the world towards the outbreak of a world war by his actions. This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó on November 19.
The Hungarian foreign minister called the remaining months of Biden's presidential term the most dangerous in recent decades. According to him, allowing Kiev to launch strikes with U.S. weapons deep into Russia creates the danger of a world war. In such an outcome, Western countries would lose everything, Sijjarto said.
"In the United States, a president who was removed from power by his own party, whose abilities are questioned by many and who will leave office in two months, is making decisions that will lead to a global catastrophe," Sijjarto wrote on his Facebook page (part of Meta, which is recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia).
He also pointed out that Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election could bring Europe a chance to restore peace on the continent, adding that there are people on both sides of the continent who are against the end of the conflict. According to the Hungarian foreign minister, an attempt has been made by the pro-war political elite to turn the conflict in Ukraine into a world war.
Earlier in the day, the director of the Institute of Politics, Law and Social Development, Volodymyr Shapovalov, said in a conversation with Izvestiya that the expansion of the range of use of Western weapons by Ukrainian militants leads to further escalation of the conflict. Shapovalov emphasized the skill of the Russian military, which shot down the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) ATACMS missiles that attacked the Bryansk Region that day.
Prior to that, on November 17, The New York Times reported that Biden had allegedly authorized Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles to strike Russia. The Le Figaro newspaper wrote at the same time that the French and British authorities had made a similar decision, but then removed this information from the article. EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrel said afterwards that on November 18-19 the issue of lifting restrictions on strikes deep into Russia with European weapons would be discussed.
At the same time, Deputy National Security Advisor to the US President John Feiner, in a conversation with journalists on November 18 , did not confirm that Washington had given such permission to Kiev. The official noted that the White House, when making decisions, proceeds from the situation on the battlefield.
Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Biden's possible authorization for Ukraine to use long-range weapons in this way was due to the fact that the outgoing US president has nothing more to lose. Nebenzya urged Western countries to forget about the idea of defeating Russia on the battlefield because it is impossible.
