A girl from the Moscow region broke her nose because of a phone that fell on her face

In the Moscow region a girl broke her nose after dropping a cell phone on her face. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region on November 19.

According to the Ministry, a 24-year-old girl went to a medical facility with a nose injury. According to her, the gadget fell on the bridge of her nose when she fell asleep while scrolling through social networks. Diagnostics revealed a fracture of the nasal bones with displacement of the fragments.

"Under local anesthesia, we performed surgical repositioning of the displaced fragments of the nasal skeleton and fixed them in the correct position," said doctor-otorhinolaryngologist Raul Ten.

He added that the nose functioned normally after the surgery and the girl was discharged from the hospital. She has indicated that she will give up using her phone before going to bed.

The agency urged in such injuries to urgently seek medical attention to avoid improper fusion of bone fragments.

Earlier, on March 17, in Borovichi, Novgorod region, a teenager was injured as a result of a cell phone exploding in his hands. It is noted that the boy's phone exploded in his hands while he was sleeping. No other details are given.
