MTS reported financial results for the third quarter

Consolidated revenue of MTS in the third quarter of this year increased by 15.3% year-on-year and amounted to 180.4 billion rubles. This was reported in the company, noting that the growth of the indicator was recorded against the background of increased revenues of all business areas.

The growth of OIBDA of the Group in the reporting period amounted to 4.5%, the indicator increased to 61.5 billion rubles. "The stable OIBDA dynamics is supported by revenues from communication and fintech services. OIBDA growth was restrained by expenses on the development of promising areas, ecosystem and personnel, as well as non-recurring expenses," the company said.

MTS net quarterly profit amounted to 1.0 billion rubles against the background of increased interest expenses. The group also noted an increase in the number of ecosystem customers to 16.8 million and a 16.1% year-on-year increase in ecosystem revenue in the third quarter.
"The number of customers using four or more ecosystem products grew by 30%," the company emphasized.

MTS President Vyacheslav Nikolaev noted that based on the results of the first nine months of this year, the company "demonstrates stable performance in the changing external environment." "Our basic telecom business shows a confident growth, and also strengthens synergy with ecosystem areas", - pointed out the head of the Group.

At the same time, Nikolaev noted, "the tightening of regulatory and monetary policy dictates the need to adjust the strategy and format of work" of the company. "We are finalizing these measures and in the coming months we will hold an "Investor Day" where we will present our vision and strategic plans to the market," he added.
