A car ran over a child to death in Novosibirsk

A man hit two pedestrians - a woman and a child - in the Kirovsky district of Novosibirsk. The boy died as a result of the accident. This was reported by the regional state traffic police.

In Telegram-channel of the Department specified that the tragedy occurred in the afternoon of November 19 in the yard of one of the houses of the city. A man born in 1961 ran over a woman born in 1994 and a boy "looking about two years old" in a Subaru car, moving in reverse.

The child died at the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries of varying degrees of severity.

The police also established that the driver was in a state of alcohol intoxication.

All the circumstances of the accident are being established.

Earlier in the Oktyabrsky district of Irkutsk, an elderly driver of an SUV fatally hit a nine-year-old boy crossing the road.
