In Kislovodsk began conservation of fountains for the winter

Kislovodsk (Stavropol Territory) has started closing fountains in preparation for winter. Conservation will protect the structures of objects from cold weather and unfavorable weather, the press service of the city administration reports on Tuesday, November 19.

"Now drained the water and cleaned the bowls from sediment and contaminants. Next, specialists will blow out pipelines, clean the filtering systems and inspect all city fountains for malfunctions for further repair," said the head of the city Evgeny Moiseyev, he was quoted by StavropolMedia IA.

According to the mayor, if necessary, the fountains will be renewed pumping equipment, filters and jet-forming elements.

Some of the objects have already been covered to preserve them until next year. The work of the fountains will resume in spring. In the current season they pleased citizens and guests of the resort almost until mid-November.

Earlier it was reported that in Kislovodsk renovated the facade of an old house of 1900, which is an architectural heritage of the city. Overhaul of buildings of such age requires high professionalism and a deep understanding of the historical and cultural value of the object.
