Russian Defense Ministry publishes footage of destruction of AFU pickup truck in Kharkiv region

The Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, November 19, published footage of the destruction of a camouflaged pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a forest belt in Kharkiv Region.

"Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops in the Kharkiv region with the help of a drone identified a camouflaged pickup truck of the AFU in a forest belt," the report said.

It is noted that after reconnaissance it was decided to fire, as a result of which the grouping of troops "North" destroyed the camouflaged pickup truck with a direct hit using an FPV drone.

Earlier, on November 16, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of a camouflaged vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border area of Kursk Region.

On November 14, it was reported that the Russian military destroyed 10 tanks of the AFU in Kursk region in a day. Units of the Russian Armed Forces' "North" troop group defeated the AFU's manpower in the areas of Daryino, Leonidovo, Malaya Lokni, Nikolayevo-Daryino and Novoivanovka.

On the same day, the crew of a Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces attacked an accumulation of AFU personnel and military equipment in a border area of Kursk Region. The strike was carried out on reconnaissance targets using aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
