The AFU lost up to 320 militants in the Kursk direction over the day

The Russian Armed Forces have defeated several formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on November 19.

"Units of the "North" group of forces defeated formations of the 41st, 44th, 47th and 115th mechanized, 82nd and 95th airborne assault brigades, 36th Marine Brigade, 117th and 129th brigades of territorial defense of the AFU," the ministry said.

In addition, in the area of Bogdanovka, Daryino and other settlements of Kursk region, the Russian army hit the AFU's manpower and equipment with strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation, as well as artillery fire.

During the day, the opponents lost up to 320 servicemen, two tanks, one of them a Leopard 2 made in Germany, and a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle made in the United States.

Earlier in the day, FPV drones of the Russian Defense Ministry's Rubicon test center for advanced unmanned technologies hit AFU armored vehicles in the Kursk region. The footage shows how the drones detected the object and then destroyed it. After the strike, clouds of smoke were observed in the air.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
