Emergency regime introduced in the village of Ilyich in Kuban after the discovery of a bomb from the times of the Second World War

Authorities of the Temryuksky district of Krasnodar region have introduced a state of emergency in the village of Ilyich in connection with the discovery of a bomb from the Great Patriotic War. This was reported by the head of the district Fedor Babenkov in his Telegram-channel on November 19.

The head of the district reported about the discovery of the shell earlier in the day. For the safety of the residents of the district decided to temporarily evacuate the area. Later, a meeting was held on the issue of evacuation of residents of the settlement.

"During the meeting the following decisions were made: to introduce a state of emergency on the territory of the village Ilyich Zaporozhsky rural settlement", - wrote Babenkov.

In addition, it was decided to organize the cordon of the settlement and duty on the territory of the emergency brigades and fire department.

Currently, 1.8 thousand local residents are being evacuated. In Ilyich also organized door-to-door rounds, classes in kindergartens and schools have been canceled.

Earlier, on November 8, it was reported that in the Orenburg region found and neutralized an aerial bomb with traces of corrosion and fuse. The discovered shell was destroyed on the spot in compliance with safety measures.
