The court recognized the fine to foreign agent-comic Ruslan Belom as lawful

Moscow City Court has recognized as lawful a fine of 30 thousand rubles to comedian Ruslan Belom (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) for not indicating his status on the Web. Such information was published on November 19 in the card index of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.
"Leave the ruling unchanged, and the complaint - without satisfaction," - stated in the card index.
Bely was entered by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents in September 2023. Along with him, the list included journalist Dmitry Muratov, former deputy of the St. Petersburg City Council Maxim Reznik, ex-professor of the Higher School of Economics Konstantin Sonin, Oleg Radzinsky, Oksana Barsheva, Evgeny Karpov, Denis Kataev and Mairbek Vachagaev. At that time, the register of foreign agents had 674 individuals, legal entities and public associations.
On December 1, 2022, the law regulating the activities of foreign agents came into force in Russia. In case of obtaining this status, a foreign agent, among other things, can no longer receive financial support from the state, participate in government procurement and engage in teaching activities in state institutions.
In addition, foreign agents must notify their employees and authorities of their status and label the materials they create.
