Putin expressed confidence in Russia's victory thanks to its people

Russia's victory will be secured thanks to its people, President Vladimir Putin said on November 19.

He made this prediction at a meeting with Alexei Nechaev, head of the New People faction in the State Duma, who expressed confidence that the country would emerge victorious from difficult times, also thanks to the work of the Russian leader.

"Thanks to the people of Russia," Putin responded.

During the conversation, Nechayev also thanked the president for organizing the BRICS summit in Kazan, which demonstrated the absence of any isolation of Russia.

Putin clarified that the purpose of the summit was to move forward and develop together with those who want to do so, not to prove anything. At the same time, the head of state agreed with Nechaev that it is important to "be real."

In July, Putin noted in an interview that the spiritual basis for Russia's victory is created by its history, traditions and pride in the feats of ancestors in strengthening the state. As the president pointed out at the time, the country has always been strengthened and felt more confident thanks to the peoples living on its territory.
