Two policemen in Yugra killed in a road accident with a KamAZ truck

In Surgut district on the 69th km of the highway Surgut - Nizhnevartovsk there was a road accident involving a KamAZ truck, in which two people died. This was reported by the police of Ugra on November 19.

According to preliminary data, it was established that the driver of "KamAZ", not being sure of safety, began to overtake the car "Volvo" traveling ahead. At the same time, the car "Lada Vesta" was moving on the oncoming lane.

"The driver of the passenger car, trying to avoid a head-on collision with the "KamAZ", caught the side curb, as a result there was a skid of the vehicle under the oncoming "Volvo"," - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

It is specified that the driver and the passenger of "Lada" died on the spot.

As reported by the agency TASS, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, the dead were employees of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yugra.

Police officers are working at the scene of the accident. The fact of the accident is being checked. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier, on November 14, in Kuban in Krylovsky district on the road Oktyabrskaya - Pavlovskaya - Novoplastunovskaya a passenger car collided with "KAMAZ", as a result of the accident two adults and a child were killed. It is established that the driver of the car drove into the oncoming lane (in a place where it is forbidden) and collided with the "KAMAZ". According to preliminary data, the driver of the passenger car fell asleep at the wheel while driving.
