Director of Voentorg-Center charged with embezzlement of budget funds

Olga Virt, the deputy general director of the JSC "Voentorg-Center", has been charged with embezzlement of budget funds. About it on Tuesday, November 19, reports the press service of the military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"The investigation found that in 2023 Wirt stole more than 1 million rubles from the employees of JSC "Voentorg-Center" by issuing and withdrawing quarterly bonuses," - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

The defendant pleaded guilty and expressed her desire to cooperate with the investigation, having concluded a pre-trial agreement.

The case is under control of the main military investigative Directorate of the IC RF.

Earlier in the day it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk a criminal case of fraud was initiated against the founder of LLC "USK "Sibiryak" and ex-head of MKU "Capital Construction Management", which was committed by them during the construction of a highway interchange in the city. It was noted that the investigation of the case under part 4 of article 159 was initiated on the basis of materials of the FSSB of Russia in the region.
