Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned EU and British sanctions

Iran has condemned the European Union (EU) and UK sanctions imposed for Tehran's alleged support for Moscow. This was stated by Esmail Baghaei, the official spokesman of the republic's Foreign Ministry, on Tuesday, November 19.
"Iran condemned the interference of the European Union and the United Kingdom in the legitimate relations of states in defense and military spheres," TASS quoted the diplomat as saying.
The statement notes that the country will continue to cooperate with its partners for national interests and security, adds "Gazeta.Ru".
On the eve of the EU Council blacklisted three Russian companies, as well as one Iranian shipping company and its director. Under the sanctions fell the company Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) and its director Mohammad Reza. The EU cited Tehran's alleged support of Moscow in special operations as the reason.
