Ukraine reported damage to infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhya region

A number of infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya Region after explosions, the head of the Ukrainian regional administration, Ivan Fyodorov, said in his Telegram channel on 19 November.

He did not specify the exact number of objects and their type.

The day before, Ukrainian media reported explosions in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporizhzhya. Fedorov said afterward that more than 10,000 subscribers were de-energized there.

According to the Ukrainian portal, to alert the population at night in Zaporizhzhya region several times announced an air alert.

Earlier, on November 15, a woman was killed and three other people were injured when a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a village in Zaporizhzhya region. In another village, a disabled man was injured by shrapnel as a result of shelling by Ukrainian militants.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
