Comedian Danila Poperechny (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) has filed an appeal against the refusal to exclude him from the register of foreign agents. The corresponding information was published in the file cabinet of the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow.

The appeal was registered on November 8. At the same time, the case card indicates that it was denied. The date of the Moscow City Court session has not been set.

The Ministry of Justice of Russia recognized Poperechny as a foreign agent on July 14. It was specified that the comedian was a respondent on the information platform provided by the foreign agent.

In addition, he opposed the special operation of the Russian Federation to protect Donbass, disseminated inaccurate information to form a negative image of Russia, as well as the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation. The blogger also received support from foreign sources and created foreign agent materials for an unlimited number of people.

In September it was reported that Poperechny appealed against the foreign agent status. Later, on October 5, the court denied the blogger's claim. During the hearing of the lawsuit, a representative of the Ministry of Justice named one of the reasons for the blogger's inclusion in the register of foreign agents as receiving funds from foreign companies.
