Rostov Region's governor reported the elimination of 11 UAVs over the region

Russian air defense forces destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Rostov Region overnight. This was reported on November 19 by Yuri Slyusar, acting governor of the region.

"A total of 11 UAVs were destroyed overnight in the Rostov region by air defense means: near Taganrog in Myasnikovsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky, Oktyabrsky, Morozovsky and Belokalitvinsky districts," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, Slyusar reported that an explosion occurred after one of the drones fell, injuring a truck driver on a highway in the Belokalitva district. The man was taken to the hospital.

Before that, on the evening of November 18, air defense assets destroyed eight Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Bryansk region and one over the Kursk region in 30 minutes.

The armed forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
