The amendments to the procedure for calculating contributions for capital repair in 2025 developed by the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation say that it will become differentiated and owners of premises with elevators in need of replacement will pay more than residents of houses without elevators. This was reported on November 19 by a member of the State Duma Committee on construction and housing and communal services Alexander Yakubovsky.
"Given the need to finance the work on the replacement of elevator equipment, the Ministry of Construction of Russia proposes from 2025 to make changes to the procedure for calculating capital repair contributions, making it differentiated," - quotes his words "RIA Novosti".
He specified that owners of residential premises in which a faulty or in need of replacement elevator is installed will pay a larger amount than citizens who live without it.
Yakubovsky added that the contribution to the capital repair should be raised to "real indicators". Now it is 12.6 rubles per square meter.
Earlier, on October 31, senator, arbitration manager of the Ministry of Justice Olga Epifanova reminded that Russian pensioners have access to a subsidy for the payment of utilities, if their expenses are higher than a certain part of their income. According to her, compensation for the costs of capital repairs is also now provided for.
