Su-34 crew destroyed AFU equipment and a stronghold in the border area of Kursk Region

The crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces has struck personnel, military armored vehicles and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on November 19.

It is noted that the strike was carried out on the reconnaissance targets by aviation bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).

As indicated in the ministry, having received confirmation from intelligence about the destruction of personnel, military equipment and a stronghold of the AFU, the crew safely returned to the airfield of departure.

Earlier, on November 12, the Russian Su-34 crew of the Russian Air Force launched a strike on an AFU stronghold in the Kursk region. According to the agency, the strike was carried out on reconnaissance targets using aerial bombs with UMPK.

Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
