In Rostov region reported about the attack of AFU drones

The air defense forces have destroyed drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Rostov Region. This was reported on November 19 by Yuri Slyusar, acting governor of the region.

"Air defense means now reflect an air attack of the enemy over the territory of the Rostov region. One unmanned aerial vehicle around midnight was destroyed by our servicemen near Taganrog. There, fortunately, did without consequences on the ground," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar also pointed out that an explosion occurred on a highway in the Belokalitva district after another UAV fell, injuring a truck driver. The man was taken to hospital and is being treated.

Earlier, on November 18, Kursk Region Governor Alexei Smirnov said that a civilian was killed when an AFU drone attacked a car in the region. He expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The armed forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
