Vadim Yevseyev, six-time Russian soccer champion and head coach of Leningradets, told Izvestia about his condition after the attack in Astrakhan.

According to him, his eyesight has not yet finally recovered, there is still treatment to be done.

"There is a conclusion of doctors, we will be treated. <...> Eye burn of some degree," - explained Evseev.

About the armed attack on himself Vadim told "Izvestia" on November 18. The UMVD of Russia in the city of Astrakhan reported the detention of two men suspected of the attack. It was noted that the detainees were in a state of alcoholic intoxication when they approached the representatives of the soccer club with a request for a light and, having been refused, pulled out a knife and pepper spray.

Later, soccer agent Alexander Maniakov reported that Yevseyev's vision did not fully recover after the pepper spray gas hit his eyes. The victim said that he was going to undergo an examination in a Moscow clinic next week.
