Experts named the regions with the largest salaries

Chukotka, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Moscow, Magadan Oblast and NAO became the leaders in terms of average wages at the end of the third quarter. This is stated in the study of the Civil Society Development Foundation (CSDF) "Regions - leaders of socio-economic sustainability. Top-35", prepared based on the results of the third quarter of 2024. The document was familiarized with "Izvestia".

According to it, Russians have also increased the index of social well-being (the ratio of average monthly salary to the cost of living). In Russia as a whole, it rose from 3.31 to 3.58 over the year.

The regions - leaders in all indicators of socio-economic sustainability were the YNAO, NAO and Chukotka (shared second place), as well as the Magadan region.
