Russian Defense Minister congratulates the military on the Day of Rocket Troops and Artillery

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov congratulated servicemen and veterans on November 19 on the Day of Rocket Troops and Artillery.

"Rocket and artillerymen have written many glorious pages in the military history of our Motherland. During the Great Patriotic War they made an invaluable contribution to the defeat of the Nazi invaders," reads the congratulatory message published in the Telegram channel of the ministry.

The head of the Russian Defense Ministry also said that servicemen are improving their professional skills, mastering high-tech weapons and equipment. According to him, during the special operation missile troops and artillery play an important role "in inflicting fire damage on the enemy, destroying his equipment and manpower, conducting counter-battery warfare."

The Minister also thanked all the missileers and artillerymen for faithful service and hard work.

Earlier, on November 13, Belousov congratulated servicemen, veterans and employees of the defense-industrial complex (DIC) on the Day of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces (RCDBZ).
