Stylist and accessories designer Anna Skorokhodova told on Monday, November 18, about the trends of 2025 and advised what image to choose for a New Year's corporate event or party.

According to the expert, this winter metallic in a golden shade will be at the peak of popularity.

"Especially beautifully golden metallic will look with black color. For example, it can be a lush skirt in a golden hue made of brocade or some other heavy material and, for example, a black long-sleeve with a cutout on the back. This combination will look very solemn and will be suitable for a party or for some corporate event in a restaurant," Skorokhodova said in a conversation with Radio 1.

The specialist advised to look at dresses in the floor with deep cuts above the knee to give a special solemnity.

"Such an image is undesirable to overload any additional decorative elements, it will be enough thin jewelry, neat shoes and high styling," - said the stylist.

She added that sequins are the easiest and most pleasant way to cheer yourself up and create a New Year's atmosphere, but it is important not to overdo it.

"To do this, it is necessary to mix products with sequins with simpler and quieter closet items. For example, a skirt or pants with sequins is better to combine with a cozy fluffy sweater, which will add balance to the image and will not allow to slip into a kind of vulgarity," - said the designer.

Skorokhodova added that translucent fabrics should be used in contrast, for example, combine a massive velvet jacket of deep wine or chocolate color with a translucent skirt in tone.

According to the expert, this year passes under the hymn of a strong woman, so you can look at suits of fitted or semi-fitted silhouette without decorative elements with straight or flared pants. It will look quite luxurious and at the same time will not constrain movements. It is worth choosing a jacket with voluminous shoulders and a clear line of shoulders, with a clear silhouette, concluded the expert.
