A teenager was kidnapped in St. Petersburg, a criminal case has been opened. This was reported on November 18 by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia) in the city.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on November 17 in the city of Lomonosov. Three defendants forcibly put a minor in the car and demanded 30 thousand rubles, which he allegedly owed them.

"Then the defendants let the victim out of the car so that the latter took the money from his parents and handed it over to them. About what happened the teenager reported to his mother, who appealed to law enforcement authorities," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

A criminal case under part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping of a person, committed by a group of persons") was initiated on the fact of the incident. At the moment, law enforcement agencies have detained the attackers, they are charged. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.

Earlier, on October 23, Moscow police officers detained two men suspected of extorting money and kidnapping three people. The investigation established that from September 24 to September 25, the defendants attacked a woman near a house in Bolshoy Drovyaniy Lane.
