Air defense forces shot down four AFU drones over Belgorod and Bryansk regions

Air defense forces have shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 18.

It is specified that the terrorist attack was foiled from 19:10 to 19:25 Moscow time.

"On-duty air defense means destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Belgorod region and two - over the territory of the Bryansk region," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.

On the same day, the Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense forces destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones over five regions of the Russian Federation last night. The drones were eliminated over the Moscow, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod and Tula regions.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
