Secondly, Russian attacks have become more and more intense and more visibly successful in the past period," the Hungarian foreign minister told reporters after a meeting of the council of European Union (EU) foreign ministers, which was broadcast on the M1 television channel.

He also noted that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine was deteriorating and pointed to the approaching winter. According to him, the liberal circles in Brussels and Washington are not ready to realize the need for an early settlement of the conflict, while the situation for the Ukrainian side is getting worse.

In addition, he added that the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election gives a good opportunity to change the completely failed strategy regarding the conflict, but the EU does not use it.
