In Russia, contractors have almost completely switched to the use of domestic construction materials and equipment in the construction of social facilities - kindergartens, schools and hospitals. This was told in the press service of the Ministry of Construction on Monday, November 18.

"According to the results of the analysis of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, in the last months of 2023 and in 2024 there is a decrease in the application of the volume of imported construction materials used. In the design decisions of budget construction of social facilities at the beginning of this year, imported materials and equipment are practically not used," the report quotes "Abzats".

The agency added that in road construction the use of foreign machinery is also reduced. At the same time, it was possible to achieve almost 100% import substitution in the construction of bridges and interchanges, the ministry stressed.

Earlier, on November 13, the press service of the Ministry of Construction told "Izvestia" that changes to the Housing Code in terms of the procedure for approval of the transfer of residential premises to non-residential and back, as well as redevelopment in an apartment building are being worked out.

Thus, by the end of the year, the Housing Code will be amended, according to which Russians across the country will be allowed to legalize unauthorized redevelopment of the apartment without a trial, writes "Moscow 24". This follows from the roadmap approved by the Cabinet of Ministers for simplification in the field of harmonization of redevelopment of premises (Izvestia has it). The plan is developed in accordance with the project of "regulatory guillotine 2.0".

On November 14, Ivan Solovyov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Russia, explained in a conversation with RT that the changes in the Housing Code regarding the procedure for approving the transfer of residential premises to nonresidential premises and back, as well as redevelopment in an apartment building, can be safely called an apartment amnesty.
