In Belarus, border guards found five beaten refugees on the border with Poland


Belarusian border guards in Berastavitski district, Hrodna voblast, found refugees, who had been beaten by Polish security forces and thrown out on the Belarusian territory. This is reported on the website of the State Border Committee (SBC) of Belarus on November 18.
According to the agency, there are citizens of Afghanistan and Iran among the beaten foreigners. They were emaciated, three of them had multiple lacerations and signs of beatings. According to the victims themselves, they were beaten by the Polish military, after which they were forced to cross into the territory of Belarus.
The border guards called an ambulance, and the victims were hospitalized.
According to the State Border Committee, over the past three years, the refugees have been subjected to animal baiting, systematic beatings, use of special means, as well as weapons by the Polish security forces. These actions led to the deaths of more than 30 foreigners.
Earlier, November 4, on the border with Poland, Belarusian border guards found two refugees from Guinea and Eritrea, beaten by Polish security forces. This was reported by the Border Committee of Belarus. It also specified that the victims were immediately called an ambulance. Medics diagnosed a serious cut of the thigh in one of the women, while the second - a spinal injury, resulting in the failure of the victim's legs.
Before that, on October 28, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced his intention to erect an "iron curtain" on the country's eastern border. Moreover, he noted that these measures were necessary to protect against potential Russian aggression.
On July 17, the Chief of General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces said that the country was going to start a new mission to protect its borders with Belarus on August 1. According to him, a hybrid war is allegedly being waged against Poland.
In May, it became known about the plans of the Polish state to create a buffer zone about 200 meters wide from the border line. Polish Prime Minister said that the country was going to invest about $2.5 billion in the security of its borders with Russia and Belarus.
