Construction of a dog shelter is being completed in Borza in Transbaikalia

In the town of Borzya in the Transbaikal Territory, the construction of a new shelter for dogs is being completed. The district administration reports about it in its Telegram channel.

According to the head of the district Roman Gridin, an area away from residential houses has been chosen for the construction, the enclosures themselves have been arranged in compliance with the necessary rules and regulations. In total, the shelter is designed for 150-200 animals.

The shelter is expected to open this winter. The construction work is being carried out by the non-profit organization "Tobik". As IA ChitaMedia specifies, part of the spent funds was reimbursed to the organization in the form of a subsidy.

Earlier on November 18 it was reported that in the Moscow region opened a criminal case over the death of a woman who suffered from dog bites. As it turned out, a 49-year-old housekeeper was attacked by a mastiff dog.
