Actor Vasily Livanov has been discharged from the hospital

People's Artist of the RSFSR Vasily Livanov has been discharged from the hospital. This was reported on November 18 by a source of "Izvestia".

The hospitalization of the actor became known on November 13, the same day his daughter-in-law reported that Livanov was released home after examination. However, the next day in the Sklifosovsky Emergency Research Institute said that the artist is in the surgical intensive care unit.

Poet-songwriter Yuri Entin called Livanov's hospitalization an ordinary situation.

Livanov is an honored artist of the RSFSR and People's Artist of the RSFSR. He was also awarded the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" IV degree, the Order of Honor and the medal "In Memory of Heroes of the Fatherland". The actor is best known for the screen image of Sherlock Holmes in the film series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson" directed by Igor Maslennikov based on the works of Arthur Conan Doyle, for which he was awarded honorary membership of the Order of the British Empire in 2006.
