Borrell asked Europe to speak the language of strength in his latest appeal to the EU

The head of the European Union's (EU) diplomatic service, Josep Borrell, called on the association to learn the language of strength to be a geopolitical player before his retirement on November 18 at a meeting in Brussels.
"The EU must learn the language of force. But to learn the language of force, the EU countries must be united," TASS quoted Borrell as saying. He, on top of everything else, noted that without unity, European countries will not be able to demonstrate strength.
Borrel also added that discussions in the European Union can last several weeks or even months before concrete steps are taken. According to him, this also prevents the association from becoming a geopolitical player. Speaking on the same topic, he pointed out that arms deliveries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are constantly late due to lengthy discussions. In this regard, he demanded that after his departure, Europe should "stop arguing and start supplying arms to Ukraine faster."
On December 1, Borrell's term as EU diplomacy chief expires, and he will be replaced by former Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. On November 1, she started working as the EU's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy.
Earlier, on November 13, Borrell called on the EU to increase support for Ukraine after the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election. Then he noted that at a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on November 18 will discuss the prospects of US support for Kiev.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022. The decision to hold it was taken by the Russian president because of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the increased shelling by Ukrainian troops.
