The "life situation" service for restoring documents has been launched on Gosuslugi


A new "life situation" service for the restoration and replacement of documents has been launched on the "Gosuservices" portal. This was announced by the Russian government on its official website on Monday, November 18.
"The peculiarity of services "life situation" - services that are necessary for people in certain life situations are provided comprehensively and are in one place, on the portal of state services," the website says.
It is noted that the new service will allow to find out the numbers of lost documents, such as SNILS and TIN, as well as OMS policy, passport, driver's license, pension documents, education documents and passport of a citizen of Russia, if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
"Life Situations" services are necessary for people to receive state services in one place, quickly and conveniently. Moreover, it is important that all necessary services are provided comprehensively without the need to search for additional information and visit agencies. Even if a person loses his passport, he will be able to promptly get a new one and return to the usual rhythm of life," said Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
It is specified that by 2025 thanks to the service "life situation" it is expected that by 1.7 times the terms of registration of necessary documents will be reduced - on average from 50 to 30 days.
The number of required documents is planned to be reduced from 17 to 13 on average. The number of face-to-face visits to agencies will also decrease - instead of 15, the average number of visits will be six.
Earlier, on November 8, Director General of the NSIS Nikolai Galushin reported that in Russia will begin to remind on "Gosusluga" about the expiration of CMTPL insurance policy. Such functionality National Insurance Information System (NIIS) is now developing with the Ministry of Finance. According to expectations Galushin, this function will work in 2025.
Users of "Gosuslugi" already receive notifications about the validity status of some documents. For example, the mobile application "Gosuservices Auto" reminds motorists about the expiration of the driver's license, told "Izvestia" in the press service of the Ministry of Digitization. There confirmed: the possibility of extending the functionality to the MTPL policy is now being discussed by the Ministry of Cifra with interested departments and organizations.
Such notifications will help people not to go on the road without a policy by forgetfulness, agreed the president of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RIA) Evgeny Ufimtsev. According to him, it will allow a car owner to avoid a fine for the absence of compulsory motor insurance, and victims will be protected if an accident occurs.
Market participants supported the initiative. Nowadays, depending on the region, from 2% to 20% of drivers drive without compulsory car insurance, according to Alexander Goryainov, Deputy General Director of IC MAKS.
