Six-time Russian soccer champion and head coach of Leningradets Vadim Evseev said on November 18 that he feels "more or less".

"I feel more or less. In a week's time I'll get to a hospital in Moscow," he told TASS.

Yevseyev was attacked on the night of November 18. In a conversation with Izvestia, he said that he did not know the motives of the attackers.

He shared that his eyes could not see well after getting pepper spray gas in his eyes. This was also reported by soccer agent Alexander Maniakov.

Georgi Nachkepia, the head of the press service of Leningradets, shared in a conversation with "Championship" that the attack was of criminal nature. According to him, the injured assistant coach Shmarko was stabbed in the face and received five stitches in the hospital.

In addition, Nachkepia noted that at the moment everything is all right with the participants of the incident and the team has already left for St. Petersburg to start the training process on Wednesday, November 20.

Later, the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in Astrakhan reported that two men suspected in the attack on Evseev were detained. It is noted that the figures were in a state of alcoholic intoxication when they approached the representatives of "Leningradets" with a request for a light. The men committed an attack after being refused.
