Improvement of the Birch Grove Park was completed in Achinsk

In the city of Achinsk in the Krasnoyarsk region completed the improvement of the park "Birch Grove". About it the regional Ministry of construction and housing and communal services reports on Monday, November 18.

"This year this space has acquired new meanings: here appeared locations for children, athletes and honeymooners. All functionality we will estimate next year, and meanwhile we consider variants to make the park more filled", - the head of the city Igor Titenkov commented.

As KrasnoyarskMedia IA specifies, the contractor arranged a large sports zone with a soccer field, simulators, volleyball, basketball and biathlon grounds, created an observation deck, and also transformed the place with the "stone of love", which is a landmark for Achinsk citizens. In addition, a plaque was installed in memory of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross, which stood here in the XIX century.

The area of the park "Birch Grove" is 8 hectares. In 2023 a circular route for runners and rollers was laid there, a pedestrian alley was arranged. Improvement of the territory was carried out within the framework of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
