This year the main Christmas tree of the country will be held on the stage of the Grand Hall of the State Kremlin Palace from December 26 to January 8.
The best writers and directors have prepared a performance "New Year's Journey to the Polar Region" for the guests of the holiday. The audience will see a multimedia musical and plunge into raus-programs with fairy-tale heroes and circus artists, visit the carnival of toys. More than 200 thousand people will visit 36 sessions of the Christmas tree. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, the organizer of the Kremlin Christmas tree.
"For more than 70 years trade unions hold the main Christmas tree of the country in the Kremlin Palace. This year for visitors prepared "New Year's Journey to the Polar Region" - an exciting performance with bright decorations and modern special effects, author's music and choreography. In the center of the plot - a story about what unites generations, how family support helps young heroes to ignite the glow of kindness even in the midst of a black blizzard. At the performance, little spectators will meet their favorite toys, and adults will plunge into the best memories of childhood. Traditionally, before the fairy tale there will be an interactive program. The foyer will host the City of Masters, where you can get recipes for a good mood, as well as three stations with a circus show and an art salon with artistic makeup, photo zones with installations in the form of toys from different years. The participants will enjoy dance master classes, games with rosta dolls and characters of children's fairy tales, thematic carnival, performances of musical groups, New Year greetings from Santa Claus and Snegurochka", - said Natalia Sviridova, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions.
According to the plot, the main characters - a girl Anuka from the North and her friend Yura from Moscow - together with their parents and children's toys will go on an adventure to stop the black blizzard and its minions, to return the light of the northern lights.
The magic show was worked on by 300 professionals - directors, designers, artists, musicians, choreographers and performers, and the idea of the script was chosen in a creative competition in which authors from all over the country participated.
Theperformance "New Year's Journey to the Polar Region" will start at 10:30, 14:00 and 18:00 every day except January 1. The cycle of performances will be completed by the Patriarchal Christmas tree for Sunday school children. It will be held on January 8 with the participation of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
The Kremlin Christmas Tree is organized by the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, the Moscow Government and the Presidential Affairs Department of the Russian Federation.
