In St. Petersburg, the Rosgvardiya detained a man who attacked a female employee of a medical institution. This was reported by the Rosgvardia on its official website on November 18.
According to the press service of the agency, a 49-year-old citizen attacked a female paramedic from the back and began to strangle her, as a result of which she lost consciousness and fell to the floor, hitting her head. The victim was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury and bruises, she was given medical assistance, the publication said.
"Rosgvardeys, who promptly arrived on the spot at the alarm signal, detained the attacker and took him to the police department," the website of the Russian National Guard troops said.
Earlier, on November 7, in Lyubertsy, a man attacked his wife with a knife, after which he tried to commit suicide. A criminal case "Attempted murder" was opened against the man.
