Insurers have calculated the cost of a VHI policy for Santa Claus

The average cost of a policy of the voluntary health insurance program (VHI) for Santa Claus will amount to 9580 rubles. This follows from the calculations of the VSK insurance house, which "Izvestia" got acquainted with on November 18.
"Ded Moroz lives in Veliky Ustyug - it is a settlement in the Vologda region of the Northwestern Federal District. The average air temperature here is -8 degrees Celsius, and the wind speed is 3 meters per second. Thus, Santa Claus necessarily needs outpatient and polyclinic care, available within the framework of VHI. Under the policy the wizard will be able to see a therapist in case of a cold, as well as to get a referral to a specialized specialist, such as a lor or pulmonologist", - noted the specialists.
They also added that such a wizard is recommended regular preventive check-ups, which include taking tests, consultations with doctors of different profiles and drawing up a health passport, in order to remain vigorous until next year. In addition, given that he will be delivering gifts, the VHI program will include pre-flight and post-flight medical check-ups using software and hardware complexes.
"To fly the whole country in one night practically alone is not an easy task. To cope with procrastination and burnout Santa Claus will be helped by a psychologist, who can also be contacted online right during the New Year business trip", - added in VSK.
Last year, on December 7, VSK Insurance House calculated the cost of optimal VHI for Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. Then the insurance price amounted to 20 thousand rubles each.
