The Moscow authorities are going to build three toll roads. Their total cost exceeds 230 billion rubles, "Kommersant" reported on November 18.

The most expensive will be the highway from Leningradskoye Shosse to "Moscow City" along the MCC line with a length of 22.5 kilometers. Its construction is estimated at 149.3 billion rubles.

The second most expensive road - from Svobody Street to Zhivopisnaya Street - was estimated at 51.7 billion rubles (7.9 km). The third - from Trofimova Street to Sevastopol Avenue - was estimated at 30.5 billion rubles (11.3 km). Construction is expected to start in 2025 and take 4-6 years.

Plans for the construction of three new roads under concession agreements were announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on July 16. The routes will reduce the congestion of existing roads and improve transport accessibility of nine districts of the city, where about 1.3 million people live, he noted.

Earlier in the day it was reported that the state company "Avtodor" for the first time in Russia in the test mode mounted an innovative roller fence. It was installed at the intersection of the Central Ring Road and the highway M-1 "Belarus" at exits and turns. The fence is designed for a significant impact force equivalent to the impact of a 15-ton bus at a speed of 74 km/h.
