The work of the school in the east of Moscow was suspended due to a case of intestinal infection

Rospotrebnadzor has suspended the work of school № 1512 in Moscow due to several reported cases of intestinal infection. This was reported on Monday, November 18, by the director of the school Elena Degtyareva.

"Rospotrebnadzor has suspended educational activities in the school building due to the registration of several cases of intestinal infection," Degtyareva told TASS.

According to her, 30 people from 12 different classes applied to the hospital with complaints at the time of the school's closure.

Earlier in the day, the Moscow office of the Russian Investigative Committee reported that students at a school in eastern Moscow had been poisoned after drinking water from a cooler.

A criminal case was opened under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of work or rendering of services that do not meet safety requirements").
