The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the American company Google 3.8 million rubles for failure to remove prohibited information. This was reported by the press service of the court in its Telegram channel on Monday, November 18.

The company was found guilty of violating part 2 of article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Failure by the owner of the site to remove information or the Internet page in case the obligation to remove such information or the Internet page is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation".

The court decision imposed an administrative fine of 3.8 million rubles on Google, the publication said.

Google and its information resources have been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for violation of Russian legislation in terms of refusal to remove prohibited information. For example, on September 30, a court in Moscow fined Google 3.5 million rubles for administrative violation - refusal to remove prohibited content.
