The grating with "Yauza" pattern will be installed on the humpback bridge in Lipetsk

A part of a new cast-iron grating has been installed on the Humpback Bridge in Lipetsk. It depicts the "Yauza" pattern, the same as on fences on bridges in Moscow, GOROD48 notes.

In February 2024, the fence on one of the sides of the bridge was destroyed during an accident - a passenger car flew into the fence.

The new fence is made of cast iron. No composite materials, such as on the Sokolsky bridge, were used in its manufacturing.

The city administration told the agency that the fence with the pattern "Yauza" is included in the project of reconstruction of the crossing. The same decorative cast-iron grates were earlier installed on the Matrossky, Deer and Preobrazhensky bridges over the Yauza River in Moscow.

The mayor's office promises to restore and preserve fences on two other reconstructed bridges, Pervomayskaya Street and Plekhanovsky Spusk.

Earlier it was reported that the territory of the private sector of Lipetsk will be divided into 12 districts for the convenience of winter cleaning. Tenders for 12 lots will be announced for outsourcing to third-party organizations.
