Russian military destroyed an AFU pickup truck with FPV drone in Kharkiv region

Servicemen of the Russian military grouping "North" have destroyed a pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. A video of the combat operation was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 18.

With the help of a drone, the scouts managed to identify the vehicle of Ukrainian militants, which was located in the forest. After analyzing the data, the target was promptly destroyed by the FPV drone.

The objective control footage shows the UAV's descent from the height of tree crowns and the moment of a direct hit on the enemy's pickup truck.

Earlier, on November 12, the Northern Group destroyed a Stryker armored combat vehicle of Ukrainian troops in Kharkiv region. The American-made vehicle was spotted while traveling along a road. After detecting the target, the fighters made a decision on fire destruction. The Defense Ministry later published footage of the FPV drone dive on the TBM and the moment of its detonation can be seen.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
