Basmanny District Court of Moscow announced the verdict to three participants of the organized criminal association (OCA), who stole over 10 billion rubles from the bankrupt banks Agrosoyuz and Inkarobank. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent from the courtroom on November 18.
A criminal case was brought against the defendants under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud on a large scale"), Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code ("Organization of a criminal association with participation in it for the purpose of committing one or more grave or especially grave crimes").
Stanislav Shelovskikh, former vice-president of Agrosoyuz Bank, was sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime colony, ex-accountant Natalia Petrenko, previously convicted for financial fraud, was sentenced to 15 years in a strict regime colony, and Denis Makartsev, a former Moscow police officer, was sentenced to 14 years.
The state prosecutor requested 18 years for Shelovskikh, 16 years for Petrenko and 15 years of imprisonment for Makartsev.
Earlier, on November 16, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) in Dagestan reported that former employees of Rosselkhoznadzor and a local resident are suspected of fraud on a large scale. It was specified that the suspects stole over 2.2 million rubles between 2020 and 2024.
