The preliminary cause of the fire in a hospital in Yekaterinburg was roof repairs

The cause of the fire in the central city hospital No. 3 in Yekaterinburg was repair work on the roof. This was reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on November 18.

"Preliminary, on the roof were repair work, the insulation caught fire," - specified in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

The incident became known earlier in the day. The fire on the area of 300 square meters covered the roof of the administrative building. The fire was localized, the evacuation of visitors and patients was carried out. Some people jumped from the windows of the burning hospital to the roofs of adjacent buildings, helping each other to descend. As a result of the fire, two workers repairing the roof were injured.
