The Investigative Committee has opened a case over the murder of a hunter in Taldom

A criminal case was initiated over the murder of a man and wounding of his friend. This was reported on November 18 by the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee (MIDC) of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region.

According to the investigation, an unknown person fired shots at two local residents, who were hunting in the forest of the Taldomsky district (Moscow region). One of them died of the wound, the second was given medical assistance.

A criminal case under the articles "Murder" and "Attempted murder" has been instituted, the IC reports.

At present, the investigating authorities are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, the publication says.

Earlier, on November 17, in Priangarie a man was shot during hunting, a criminal case was initiated. It is preliminarily established that one of the hunters shot, believing that he shoots at the beast, but hit the corral. The 62-year-old man died as a result of the wound.
