Two people were injured in a fire in Yekaterinburg hospital


As a result of a fire in the Central City Hospital No. 3 in Yekaterinburg, two employees of the organization performing roof repairs were injured. This was reported on Monday, November 18, in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Health of the region.
One of the injured was treated on the spot, the other was hospitalized. It is noted that patients in need of help can apply to the emergency department of the polyclinic № 1 of the Central State Clinical Hospital № 3.
The regional prosecutor's office organized an inspection in connection with the fire. The cause of the incident will be determined by the results of fire and technical expertise.
"The Prosecutor's office during the inspection will give a legal assessment of compliance with the requirements of federal legislation, including fire safety standards in the health care institution", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.
The incident became known earlier in the day. The fire on the territory of 300 square meters covered the roof of the administrative building of the hospital. It was localized by EMERCOM rescuers. Visitors and patients of the medical institution were evacuated. Some people jumped from the windows of the burning hospital to the roofs of adjacent buildings, helping each other to get down from there.
