Ukrainian media reported about the beginning of blackouts in Kiev

Ukraine has started switching off the lights in Kiev. This was reported on Monday, November 18, by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.ua.

"In Kiev began blackouts," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the edition.

It is noted that the city funicular was also de-energized.

On the eve of the Mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov reported a difficult situation with electricity supply in the city. He noted that emergency blackouts were in effect.

Earlier, on November 10, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that the Ukrainian government had decided to dismantle the Kurakhov thermal power plant for spare parts due to a shortage of electricity.

The publication reported on the same day that a severe electricity shortage in Ukraine in the coming winter could turn the country's cities into places with uninhabitable conditions; the inability to generate the necessary amount of energy is a serious challenge for the Kiev regime.
