In Astrakhan, the attackers of "Leningradets" coach Evseev were detained


Two residents of the Astrakhan region, suspected of attacking the six-time Russian soccer champion, head coach of the club "Leningradets" Vadim Yevseyev, were detained. This was reported on November 18 in the Telegram-channel of the UMVD in the region.
"The detained Astrakhans are taken to the police department № 4 of the UMVD of Russia for the city of Astrakhan. A procedural check is being conducted," the publication says.
It is noted that the detainees were in a state of alcoholic intoxication when they approached the representatives of the soccer club and asked for a light. They, having received a refusal, initiated a fight, writes UMVD.
According to the statement of FC "Leningradets" in Telegram-channel, the attackers attacked the last coach Alexander Shmarko and head coach Vadim Evseev with a knife and pepper spray. Shmarko received a cut on his cheek during the attack.
Yevseyev was attacked on the night of November 18. In a conversation with "Izvestia" he said that he did not know the motives of the attackers.
