A proposal to renew the composition of the Georgian government will be submitted to Parliament on November 25. This was announced by the country's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at a government meeting on November 18.

"Next Monday (November 25 - Ed.), the Georgian parliament will be presented with the composition of the government for a vote of confidence," TASS quoted him as saying.

The prime minister also called on ministries to start working to clarify the government program to be presented on November 25.

Earlier, on November 14, Kobakhidze said there were no plans to substantially renew the government. He called integration into the European Union the country's main priority.

Voting in the parliamentary elections in Georgia took place on October 26. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the republic, the ruling Georgian Dream party won with 52.99% of votes. However, three opposition political forces - United National Movement, Coalition for Change and Strong Georgia - refused to recognize the election results.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili also expressed her disagreement with the results of the vote and called on her fellow citizens to protest. For two days, on October 28 and 29, the opposition marched in Georgia against the election results. On November 5, one of the country's courts canceled the results of the parliamentary elections at 30 polling stations due to violation of the confidentiality of voting.

The country's prosecutor's office launched an investigation due to possible falsification of the results of the parliamentary elections. It became known that Zurabishvili was summoned for questioning, but she said that she did not intend to attend it.
