Captured AFU fighter told about inhumane attitude of commanders to military personnel

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) treats its soldiers as "cannon fodder". This was reported on Monday, November 18, by captured AFU militant Viktor Shpileva.
The military man said that he came to the territorial manning center (TCC, the analog of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) to update his data, but he was immediately issued a summons while undergoing a military medical commission (VLK) and sent to the brigade to the line of contact without training, due to a large shortage of personnel.
"They brought us at night to the village of Shevchenko (in the Donetsk People's Republic. - Ed.), said we would rest, and then changed their minds. They said that there were not enough people and we had to go to the positions. They quickly threw out our things, and the (infantry fighting vehicle. - Ed.) BPM drove away. We were droned across the tracks and told to entrench. We realized there was no chance. While the radio was working, they called to change us, because we had two sick people," the man said.
Shpilevoy noted that the command abandoned them and sent them "one way", landing the militants without training on the shelled territory.
Earlier, on November 16, AFU fighter Volodymyr Datsya said that the Kiev regime created such conditions that men do not have the right to refuse military service even when doing work. He noted that it is "practically impossible" to escape from the Ukrainian command, as there are guards at all positions.
In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (his term expired on May 20) signed a law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on the personal data of Ukrainians, including details of internal and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.
Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
